ABOUT THE INTERNET FRIENDS

Q: So, what exactly is Internet Friends?
A: Internet Friends is the brain child of two guys, Shawn and Henry, who, strangely enough, are friends on the internet. It is a simple black and white (with a bit of blood now and again) cartoon, so it's easy on the eyes and it chronicles two friends, Mac and Einstein, and their struggle to tolerate each other's presence in a shared space.

Q: What is the goal of Internet Friends?
A: Largely, IF has just been an excercise for us to see if we are able to do it. Shawn had always wanted to create a webcomic, and I jokingly suggested a strip about 2 guys who make fun of each other on the internet all day, and well, we just sort of went with it. I'd like to point out for everyone who doesn't get/like our strip, that we are not trying to break ground here. We are not trying to be the cleverest, or the most well drawn, or the most...anything, really. We are just trying to get a few cheap laughs for ourselves in doing something we love. If Internet Friends makes you laugh or chuckle, or maybe just smile quietly to yourself, then we'd love to share our comics with you, but if you can't appreciate the occasional 'so-low-brow-its-high-brow' joke, or a little just plain silliness, then Internet Friends probably isn't for you.

Q: How did the authors of Internet Friends friends meet?
A: Strangely enough, we met through a game of online Monopoly on games.com. Believe it folks, you CAN meet someone on the internet that you might end up one day falling into a profitable buisness relationship with. Keep searching, lonely internet nerd!

Q: Dude, your comic sucks ass/isn't funny/isn't drawn they way I think is correct.
A: Fuck off. Also, that isn't a question.

Q: What's the real reason the comic is in black and white?
A: Shawn is colorblind and I am too inept to color things in photoshop. So sorry.

Q: Do you have stairs in your house?
A: We are protected.

Q: Do you have any neat beta-comics or concept art or anything to show us?
A: Actually, yes. We do most of our concept drawing in MSPaint. Here's my initial suggestion for the website design, and here is Shawn's counteroffer. Clearly his was much better. Here is a comic from the original internet friends design; it was originally going to be drawn in a style similar to most contemporary Japanese animation. This is from the superhero incarnation of our comic, the Internet Justice Friends. Can you figure out which character we based off of this guy?

Q: Hey, I have a hillarious idea for a strip/question that isn't answered here. Can I pitch it/tell it to you guys?
A: Where as many web comic authors would take the holier-than-thou route and tell you to go fuck yourself, Shawn and I are much more humble, and always in need of some funny situations for Mac and Einstein to get into. You can either e-mail Shawn or myself, or hit us up on AIM (AltF4911 or OverclockedFox)
